Summer is almost here ! I want to take my kids somewhere nice without breaking my bank. What terrific vacation or attraction deals have you discovered that you can share with us?
Of course, I've done the FREE one day pass a couple of years to Sea World and Busch Gardens. Also, if you've seen the moviess Dolphin Tale or DT2, you and eleven of your guests can score FREE admission to Clearwater Marine Rescue and Museum. That is an excellent attraction!

I remember the old hotel before Edelweiss opened....either way Garmisch was my favorite go to place!!

We have always found that the Dominican Republic was a great place to take our family on vacation. All Inclusive resorts are cost effective especially when you have growing kids with bottomless stomachs and an appetite that lasts all day. Punta Cana has a pristine white sand beach that is absolutely gorgeous and many resorts you can call home for a week or two.

With the unrest on the other end of the island (Haiti) I guess you have to measure any risk involved and if you don't think its worth it then "Come on down" to St.Maarten!

When I redeployed from Kuwait, Sir, my family took advantage of the free stay offered by Sandy Cove. (Granted, as far as I know, this is only for military who are actually returning from a deployment....)
