What habit(s) have you been unable to break after leaving the military?

Just to start the conversation, I still make sure that my 'gig' line is straight every single time I get dressed.

I've been out for a lot longer than I was in and yet I still find myself eating my food super fast, straightening my gig line and I still fold my clothing the way I was taught to in Basic at Lackland.
There's also the fact that I try to arrive early for every appointment, too.
I tend to call people 'sir' or 'ma'am' a lot, too. It's just reflex at this point.
The folding of my clothes bit has actually been really beneficial a few times, especially when traveling.

I have several, hair cut, being 15 min early, eat very fast, not take a break until the job is done.

Gig line ,Being early for anything Eating way to fast. Working security, you just never knew when the next missile site alarm would go off, nor when you would get back. I've been out of active duty since 1992!

Yup, the gig line is still a thing. So is buttoning all buttons. Not sure, but I probably start out on the left foot.
