What happens if there is a break in extra duty? Is it true that extra duty becomes terminated after a 24-hr period between extra duty days?

If you absolutely need to know the answer, and your chain of command is unable/unwilling to answer, you can contact JAG.

I need to know because for some reason a sm on extra duty some how could not get out of doing cq. And this sm thinks he gets off extra duty cuz it’s a break in the punishment.
