What happens if you re-enlist for an MOS but fail the school? Would they let you ETS or would you be stuck on a 5-year contract still?

Needs of the service come 1st- That means they can chapter you- no ETS or assign you to whatever MOS they want- I strongly suggest you get your act together and graduate!

Maybe I am reading too much into the phrasing, but it almost seems like you are considering failing on purpose as a means to get out of your contract.
Having said that, I imagine you would revert to your first MOS. You may have an opportunity to try and reclass in the future.

You keep your contract with its ETS date. You reenlist for the training, not the MOS.
