What has your experience been while serving in the 1-141 FA? Would you recommend it to others?

I'm currently interested in joining the Louisiana Army National Guard and would like to hear input from current and former service members of the 1-141 Field Artillery. What positive and negative experiences have you encountered, and would you recommend this unit to someone with prior military service looking for a switch into Field Artillery part time service?

I only saw this post now, though it is at least a year old.
I served with the 1-141FA in Iraq in 2004-2005. My Battery was attached to the BN for the deployment, as we are from a different BN and BDE. I have nothing but the utmost respect for them.
