What have been your experiences with Amazon Prime?

We've used it for a couple years and beyond free shipping never gave it much thought until yesterday. Even though he is only a sophmore our grandson was able to get a slot in a senior computer class he needs for his major due to a last minute opening. He was in the right place at the right time and got into a class that starts tomorrow. Down side was that class requires a laptop computer on day one and he only has a desktop. We started planning trips to computer stores and then thought of Amazon. Zeroed in on the computer he wanted and it was Prime eligible so placed the order around 1:00 pm. By 6:00 pm the computer was in our home being charged. That's pretty impressive performance in my mind when you consider we went into the whole process thinking next day delivery, not 5 hours from placing order to computer in our hands without ever leaving the house. Grandson got computer charged overnight, loaded software this morning (By the way for those who don't know it, college students can get Microsoft Office suite for free). Slowest thing in the whole process was getting the Windows 10 updates loaded, and for you Apple lovers the class requires a Windows 10 computer. So thanks to Amazon Prime grandson is showing up with computer he needs tomorrow morning.
