What I can do to set me up for success before the course and while I'm there for the Aviation Maintenance Technician WOBC?

So it's been two days and nobody has responded. Have you had contact with anyone at that particular course? That may be a good place to ask.

Well Ft Eustis is a great place to be. I met my wife there. Not that I'm try to set you up or anything, just stating. You will most likely be placed in a hotel somewhere off base to save room for ALC, SLC and other shorter courses so they can be in the hotel on base. You might wanna look for a hotel and see if they have room for you to stay for an extended period of time. However if you are already married, start looking for an apt to rent. Townes at Jones Run is awesome. Stayed there for about three years.
You will be a hop, skip and a jump from Williamsburg, VA. and Busch Gardens. I recommend spending a day there. Start at the brewery and then head over to the park. They have events throughout the year. Norfolk is just around the corner. 20 min max drive. Unless there is traffic. The tunnels get jammed and they have accidents sometimes, so listen to the local traffic. As far as things to do, Virginia Beach is about 30-45 minutes away. Murtle Beach is about 2 hrs away. Just depends on what you like to do for fun.
