What insight do you have on the life of a Signal NCO in a Combat Aviation Unit?

Do you know what BN you are going to? I have been in the CAB for 2 years and could get you in contact with the appropriate direct source resident NCO.

Thank you 1sg. I currently just have a assignment to the 82nd Cab. Don’t currently have any pinpoint orders at the moment 1sg. Still 6 months from my report date just trying to gain the inside edge to hit the ground running.

Depends entirely on what your MOS and Unit S-6 are like. My 25Q's are primarily responsible for running our STT, but I also cross-train all of my troops so that they can all pitch in. So my Q's are also moderately knowledgeable on the CPN stack and of course fully capable of working a retrans site or filling aircraft & radios if my 25U's need an extra hand. How your BN and BDE S-6 manage things will also have a big impact on how involved you are with filling the aircraft, especially domestically.

Thank you for the response sir. I’m a 25Q 30 level. But I understand how BDE S6/ BN S6 will dictate my involvement with certain things. Thank you for the insight sir.

Shoot me a message and I’ll tell you as much as possible, I was in 82nd CAB just under 2 years ago, in a bn S6, as well as a PSG in the Charlie Co.
