What is a C/D NCO? My CDR asked and I cannot find it in the MP references.

1SG (Join to see), SFC Mark Merino , and COL Jean (John) F. B.,
About two years ago or more, we changed MP Terminology. We did away with Internment Resettlement Operations....Changed the Named to Detention Operations and moved Resettlement into the Security and Mobility Discipline.
We changed the name for the MOS from Internment Resettlement Specialist to Corrections/ Detention Specialist.
So, my guess if you are looking at an MTOE (assuming for a BCT) the C/D NCO position is what used to be the Internment Resettlement NCO assigned to the BCT as their Subject Matter Expert for Detention Operations.

It is the new designation for 31Es. It means "Corrections/Detention." It replaced "Internment/Resettlement."

Although that acronym is new to me, I believe it probably stands for "Civilian Detainee"
Now, let's go to an authoritative source in the matter. I searched and found that a RallyPoint member SSG (Join to see) lists his current duty position as C/D NCO. Maybe he can solve the mystery for us....
