What is a fair way to ask for more compensation after expectations have been readjusted post entrance to position??

I have come to find that I extremely undersold my value. Another team member, further behind in the same line of training as myself, is making significantly more hours and per hour rate. Given that he has prior experience in restaurant, I have prior experience in pizza delivery at a competitor chain, military, and a degree we are not comparable exactly there. How do I ask for more professionally?
