First of all, I am surprised there are any 2P0X1s around anymore. Second, I have been lucky finding patches on Vanguard, or random Google searches. Air Force patches have been hard to find in the recent decade, since most of us wear ABUs without any patches. I suppose that market with grow again with the OCP uniform.

Thank you for the recommendations. I unfortunately had my time cut short when I was in. Loved every minute of being a 2P0.

No matter how long you were a 2P0, you will find that the PMEL/ TMDE/ metrology/ calibration community tends to take care of one another. If you have problems finding certain patches on Vanguard or Amazon or random Google whack, you can also ask around on PMEL.org or the Facebook PMEL pages.

I honestly didn't even know there was a PMEL.org or any FB pages for PMEL. I'll look into those.

Not too sure now-a-days. Haven't been there since 2003. Had a blast while I was there.

I looked through their site, apparently they have listings of various shows ASMIC holds for military collectors around the country, I did see phone listings, I gather they seem to be among the larger major groups for tat sort of thing...if you look up ASMIC shows, you should see PDFs listing such info, if I see anything else useful, I'll try to send it as well....

I just stumbled across this, I gather such patches are a variety of military heraldry, I just thought they might possibly have a clue...I've often found that such professional associations are often a pretty decent way to find out about such stuff....

I've gotta really give that some thought, I actually saved mine, purely as keepsakes, I've also seen any number of sites that sell generic service patches, though I've never run across one for specific units. Purely as a guess, though, NPRC in St Louis, or maybe NARA, the Natl Archives above them, might keep photo records of such things, at least such that you could get photos of what the patcfges you'd wanted actually looked like. Even if you'd find such ohotosz how you'd get actual patches made from those there, I'm totally clueless, however, as I'd said, let me think about that whole thing, I mean WW2 B-17 nose art tends to have photo records kept of it, I can't imagine someone wouldn't keep a copy of unit patches, even if only photos...I'd expect, maybe, you could also ask legitimate military collector groups or businesses who in their corner of the universe deals in such military arcania...I've gotta admit that was a good wuestionz thought that one made my mental gears revolve somewhat, certainly....
