Special operations usually operated in small teams of highly trained and lethal elements. The size of the special forces battalion, is not a confidential but ultimately smaller than a regular size element.

In case anyone is wondering, there are about 24,000 SF operators between the National Guard and the Active Duty.
It's not very secret since the Government Accounting Office released the numbers of all the special operators in the DOD to the public in 2016.
Also, the makeup of the ODA, number of teams per battalion, battalions per group, and groups per Army, are all open doctrine.

I found that the ARNG division covering my state has SF battalion under command and got curious about the battalion's size for SF.

Why are you curious about the BN's size? What state do you live in? You have to understand its an odd question coming from a civilian. I don't think you will get anyone here to give you a number or talk about this in great detail especially in asking about SF troop numbers - part of OPSEC.
