What is all included in a class lV flight physical? What are some disqualifying factors for passing? How long does it take to be processed?

I am attempting to reclass to 15C and still need to take the physical. Searching for more info in regards to the physical, MOS itself, and time frame.

Disqualifying factors - any spinal surreys, some medications...

I do not know what the disqualifying factors are as I’ve never had any, but when ever I do a long flight physical (class 4 for my MOS) it includes the taking of urine and blood samples, a hearing test, a vision test, then it’s the same stuff they do for a PHA, and finally they do an EKG. Again, I’m sorry, but I do not know what is considered a disqualifying factor

I am honestly not sure. Mine typically goes to the company commander for signature and then I don’t see it again until I check my training records at the end of the month and see it’s been put in by the training supervisor

SPC (Join to see) My first long flight physical (when I was Enlisted) took around a month to be stamped by Rucker. I was stationed at Bragg at the time and there was no delay or wait to get the physical started. I've heard this is not always the case elsewhere so keep that in mind.

Check AR40-501. Make sure you are looking at the right chapter (initial entry vs retention va flight vs officer)
