I graduate AIT in July and I'm curious what to expect at DLI especially since I went to AIT first and that's in the process of changing.

-If you’re coming from Huachuca you’ll be coming in as phase V+, with a 21:00 curfew weekdays and 00:00 weekends.
-No alcohol.
-Battle buddy system is still technically required, but is not used for anything except when speaking to cadre.
-Some companies do daily morning formations, some don't; some do morning PT, some afternoon.
-No passes required to go into town. After the duty day, you're free to go where you will as long as its within the maximum distance allowed to you, which will be in your SOP.
-Passes can be put in for 3 or 4 day weekends when they come around. You're free to go within 250 miles (unless otherwise informed), and don't have to come back to post, while on such a pass.
-As a female, you will be in a comparatively new barracks, similar to those at Huachuca but with a kitchenette.

That covers most of the basics, ask if there's anything specific you want to know.

SPC (Join to see) - Do you know any details about how F Co is and how relaxed they are? Also, if our report date is a month after our AIT graduation, can we take leave once we get to DLI?

Hey, I’m shipping to basic training in a week and a half, and I’ll be reporting to DLI in September. I am married and have been told this counts as a PCS. My question is, do you know anyone that is married at DLI and if so do they live with their spouse?
