Does anyone else think that it is both odd and suspicious that there have been 11 seperate questions asked regarding VA Home Loans in the last 24 hours? Is there something behind this I'm not aware of? Usually the traffic on this subject is one post or less per month.

I found this site last night by mistake, created an account, and like the fact many here were mostly active or veterans. I could not believe the amount of questions about VA home buying and found vague answers to their questions. Since we all have some form of questions why not answer their questions. Perhaps I may have sparked a flame in this category wanting to help out and this would be the reason why more questions would have been asked.

Since each individual's financial situation is unique, it is better to go to a loan officer at your lending institution to determine if a VA sponsored loan fits best. General questions about VA loans are easy until you get down to the individual circumstances.

There was no mention this is a commercial website or that it sells personal data (" We sell...the following categories of information about you with third parties: Identifiers, such as name, email address, IP address, and segment information (e.g., your unit, career field, or information about your professional or educational background, that is unique to you) submitted by registered users.

Keep in mind it's getting close to Tax time so people will have a little extra money if they need a down payment.

Not only that, but most of the profiles are uber generic. The first thought that runs through my mind when I see that is that it is a bot account spamming the queue.

This may be because these generic profile users read the Privacy Policy at https://www.rallypoint.com/static_pages/privacy_policy which says, among other eyebrow raisers, " We sell...the following categories of information about you with third parties:

I have have been verified as a veteran providing proof of who I claim to be as a veteran. I am a verified mentor and have mentored many veterans either through the site I provide in a previous thread or post so many can validate on their own free will free of charge.
I find it rewarding in playing some small part helping other veterans with questions and answers many of us never had when we became a veteran or prior to that.

I think it is because the lower lending rates at this time. I just purchased in December and I was watching the rates 24/7. This is my 5th home and lower lending rates will always stir the pot. The lower the rate the lower the monthly payment. I read a article that stated “ a lower rate can get you that extra bedroom or larger home”.

I have been getting multiple emails telling I am letting my VA Loan benefit waste away. More concerning is they know I have the benefit and have not used it. Seems this information may have been breached. Side note, its unused and I haven't the slightest clue how to access. It was not a priority when I was in, and I left the service rather abruptly.
