I thought Command Post was supposed to be for members to share insights and knowledge. Yet, content is very slow being posted there. Today I see a new post when up but prior to that, it was 3 weeks ago. I was asked to write for Command Post and submitted an article about 2 months ago. I did the edits as requested and was told on September 1 that it was in the queue to be published. I would think if that is the case, there would be a lot more articles published to clear out the queue. Just wondering...

Also COL Jon Thompson, please do know that if you are ever in any major rush to have your piece published ahead of time and ahead of the queue, you are more than welcome to reach out. We've had authors do that in the past as well, and we can reach out to other authors who aren't in any sort of time crunch and see if we can move around the schedule. Please let me know if you'd like me to take a look and adjust things for you and I can absolutely do my best to accommodate you. Thanks!

COL Jon Thompson I also submit an article several months ago. There is a waiting list. The staff need to review, proof read, edit, and decide on what is and is not Command Post material. You can imagine with the amount of points a Command Post is worth initially, and how essentially "easy" it would be to stitch one together, that the RP Staff get a lot of submissions. I personally put a lot of time and effort into mine, but whether or not it becomes a Command Post, I know someone had to have read it and gained some knowledge from it. Patience is a virtue.

ENS (Join to see), you nailed it! Thank you so much for understanding! Bridget should be reaching out very soon with a few revisions and a bit of feedback!

Then why is this article, "An Oversized Gluteus Maximus Will Now Prevent Military Service" on Command Post? It is satire and does not seem to meet any of the Command Post requirements.

Last time this was discussed, the priority was to get more stories about people dealing with combat via hobbies. Ask whoever you submitted your post to about the status. "In the queue" usually meant expect it in 2-4 months. Patience.

That would make sense if there were a bunch of publications on personal stories of combat. But the stories going back at least a month have nothing to do with combat stories and it includes one satire piece. And there has not been a constant posting of stories on Command Post. Until today, the most recent one was posted 20 days ago.

COL Jon Thompson - Then it's on us, the community to enhance our efforts. I'd suggest adding relative tags (creative writing, writing, etc) to reach a higher audience here and realizing RP is still relatively new. We also don't know their priorities at the moment.
