Easy mos. it can be very boring . Lots of time for school. Also a 68r can be stationed almost anywhere not just on an army base. Your experience really depends on what kind of unit you go to.

68R10 is an over strength MOS. You can’t reclass into this speciality per MILPER 19-075.

Depends on the unit to be honest. I saw someone say they got off between 1200 and 1400.
My experience after 20+ years is that you will start duty from any time from 0500 to 0800 and work a minimum 9 hour day. Most of the time you will work a 10 hour day.
You will be doing a variety of inspetions. Everything from sanitation to operational rations. You may be at a 1 person assignment where you work 14 hours a day or a larger unit.
Hard to say honestly.

Easiest job in the army. Usually do pt on our own. Go to work, do a couple inspections if there is any (takes no more than an hour) then done for the day depending how strict your nco is. Usually just keep our phones tight til needed. Plenty of time for school. Thats all TDA though. TOE unit, regular army stuff from motorpool to pointless other things to kill time. But still the best MOS to be in to do your 20 imo.

In a TDA unit , you do your job daily. Inspections at the commissary, dfac , shoppettes , food court, etc. Some inspections are monthly where others are weekly. In some units you’re off by 12-2. In TOE units , it’s your typical soldier stuff
