My advise would be to go to a Community College that offers the Veterinary Technician courses and take them it's a two year program, in the mean time go to local vet clinics and work as assistant ECT. For the hands on experience and to really find out if it's what you want to do Before you sign on the dotted line.

What is it like to be a 68T or a 31K? | RallyPoint
can anyone give me insight on their experience working as a 68T or a 31K? I'm looking to reclass into one of the two and any feedback would be helpful.
