Can anyone tell me what fort Campbell is like? My orders say 101 rep. Which I’m tracking is the improssesing part. And I have a sponsor for 426th bsb. But they’re tracking me as a 92M (mortuary affirms). Today I graduated as a 92Y (unit supply specialist). So I’m curious if it’ll change? And overall what’s its like being at Ft. Campbell. Thanks in advance!!

You're not going to magically change your MOS, neither are they. You may fill a slot for a 92M, but you'll still be a 92Y. You may or may not do the job itself, depending on whether or not they have a 92M NCO to teach/train you. I wouldn't worry too much about that. As far as FTCKY, it's a fast-paced environment. Do everything you can to arrive in the best physical shape you can achieve. You'll be expected to qualify for and attend Air Assault School shortly after you arrive to your unit, so start rucking and climbing ropes now. The operational tempo is high, but Clarksville (and Nashville, which is only 45 mins away) are great places to spend your free time. Start doing extra PT and get ready for the rollercoaster!

Also, since you're dual-hatted as both a 92M and 92Y, ask your AIT instructors what the regulations, MILPER and ALARACT messages say about being slotted outside your CURRENT MOS. I've seen CSMs get some pretty serious lashings from Branch Chiefs (and BDE CDRs) for intentionally slotting Soldiers outside their MOS. The Army JUST paid to make you a 92Y, so they're going to want the return on investment. However, on the flip side, if your unit gets the appropriate clearance, they can submit a form to Human Resources Command to have your primary MOS changed back to 92M. All great questions to ask your sponsor and have them start sending up the flag pole for you.
