I just re enlisted to 25B, but my school date is not till August 25th 2014. So I have plenty of time to get ready and study e-learning and ect. I have had some help and great advice from a couple of people in the field but I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me on RP.. Also if anyone knows how hard it would be for me to call 25B branch half way thru school to try and get an assignment ?

<p>The best advice I could give is do your best in school and search for all material related to your job at the current level and the next two ranks to help you prepare to move forward.</p><p><br></p><p>Also, it is difficult for branch to assist while still in school as they don't know if you will pass, because if something happens and you aren't MOSQ'd you would fall under the needs of the Army. That is why branch is leery of working with you until about a few weeks of graduation of talking to you, and usually by then they have already determined an assignment for you, so it is kind of a catch-22 from both ends.</p><p><br></p><p>Good luck.</p>

Thank you for your advice I just found out that I will have my assignment 4 months before I even go to school, since i am reclassing, so retention is going to request the places I want to go. Wish me luck and thanks again for your advice SFC Baber
