What is it like working at Army National Guard Warrior Training Center?

I have been seeing lately that the Army National Guard Warrior Training Center has been doing a good bit of "recruiting" ADOS positions online. The other day, I saw that they were offering Airborne school for guardsmen who accept full time work. The WTC seems to be a beneficial place to work. Tons of high-speed potential mentors and great schooling opportunities. Has anybody ever worked there/does anybody know people who work there? I would like to hear about their experiences! Feel free to tag.

Went to sniper school with a guy that worked the pre ranger there. He liked it. He was a CPL with 12 years TIS, but had all the scare me badges. Ran into him 5 years later, he was a SGT.

I went to their Air Assault MTT while I was in Germany, some of the most professional instructors I've ever seen even after a year of being in TRADOC here at Benning. Check their home page here on rally point.

This seems to be a common trend. Everyone speaks of these instructors in a high regard.

I have work there as one of the senior Trainers for RTAC. It's a very unique experience. I definitely learned a lot in my two years working there. But expect to work when you go there. I worked countless weekends and long days. I did leave with a few School in my belt. But the challenge is that it's only for a few years at a time. if you're okay moving there for a few years then it's great.

If you accept a position, be ready to work. It wont be a 9-5 job, they take their requirement to provide high quality training very seriously. I've worked with them and attended a few schools that they've hosted. They are very good at what they do. I'd jump all over it if I were you.

Im currently a Jr in college. I would love to jump on the opportunity now, but I risk being behind in pursuit of my degree. Likewise, I don't want to miss a good opportunity like this.

A great experience all around. As a junior enlisted soldier the exerience you would gain there from being part of a mission focused Battalion where most the cadre are senior NCOs...you would have great mentorship...just bring your A game..it's definitely combat arms focused mind set...meaning you carry your own weight..sort of if you struggle with a APFT for example..anyways..hell yeah..I wish I could have stayed longer...great experience..with real soldiers...

WTC is a great organization. Some of my best years were spent there. You definitely have to "Earn it everyday" there.
