would have to talk to retention NCO. but i had a guy retire and 10 yr break and then came back in at 55

Check with a recruiter/career counselor, as I never trust that the info I have isn't out of date.
The max age is 35.
For prior service, subtract your years of prior service from your age. If the result is at/under 35, you are good.
I believe that there is also a requirement that you can complete 20 good years prior to age 60 and a hard cap of 57.
