DFAS currently runs on the computer equivalent of Sandscrit, COBOL circa 1950s. Not IT cutting edge. If they every pull the trigger on a system, it will be some derivative of an ERP. All other Logistics systems are nested in GCCS-A, which is an SAP based ERP. If they ever rip off the band aid and get rid of the current system, you could be at ground zero of a system fielding Sam M which could be a great learning experience.
