With so many options and providers of services to create custom challenge coins, the field to choose from is enormous.

What are some that you have found to be of great quality for the product and price offered?

Since I pay for my own coins at the company level, I'm going to put a plug in for AllAboutChallengeCoins.com

I'm decent at graphic design, but they tuned a rough sketch into a professional proof in a few hours and were super easy to work with if I needed to modify anything.

Hi SGT,

I would recommend us! (naturally). We offer free shipping with a 24 hour turnaround time for a proof and price quote. We will work with you every step of the way to get to the final version of your design.

And we do offer a discount for military customers, and offer you a discount for others that you refer to us as well. We also separate ourselves by donating a percentage of each order to a charity of our customer's liking.

Anyway, no pressure. Here is our site and facebook page:

"I recommend finding a company that will work with you on development of the artwork. Unless you are an artist and can give an exact image to a manufacturer to make, then you are really hiring an artist. Do you want someone who can grab images from the Internet and Photoshop them into place in a circle? Or do you want someone who can sit there and design your font, your image, your story from scratch? You want an artist who can create a piece that isn't in a booklet of designs like samples on the wall of a tattoo parlor. A coin is personal and shouldn't just be a process." This is what I do and this is what I tell people when they ask me. #coinmasterdesigns

OK, LT Adams now brings up an interesting question and twist to why I came to this post. Is there a veteran owned Challenge Coin manufacturer out there. I brought this up at a meeting with a few fellow veterans at work. We want to use it as a thank you to companies we are working with that are hiring veterans. So if anyone knows of a veteran owned company I would give them a shot at making ours. I'll look around as well and come back and update this once I find something and post a picture of the final product.

Its bias but I have to answer that my business is maybe one of the best. Not for the fact that have made a lot of coins, but because we have a great customer service group and we are determined to help military members make great coins. Most challenge coin makers will get back to you in a few days to a week, we will get back to you in a day or less. We also have extremely professional veterans that work with us and guarantee our customers the best price available. On top of all that we donate back to organizations that actually give back to the military men and woman and don't just say they do.

Look us up sometime and we would be glad to help you out.
