I am an Early Commissioning Program (ECP) graduate from Marion Military Institute. I am spending the rest of my time in college at the University of Alabama studying Public Relations. I do not plan on staying in the Infantry and I was planning on doing Aviation but recently I have started thinking about going into Civil Affairs. So why is the best way for me to get into CA?

The same way as any other officer. Once you hit Captain, you get with the Special Operations Recruiter and put in a packet.

I would stick with infantry until you go through CCC, then hit up Special Ops recruiter. Since CA teams often work with infantry teams, having a good knowledge of how they work will help you immensely immensely when you become a CA team leader.

it depends. AD it's basically a crapshoot. needs of the army and all that jazz. Guard and Reserves is easier to a degree you just need to find a unit with a slot and apply.
