What is the best way to earn respect from your peers as AIT Class Leader?

I am a 21 year old Class Leader in AIT at Fort Gordon. I have a very small class, and am the second youngest student. I have had a quick civilian career, earning supervisory positions at every job, so leadership is something I love. I am having a difficult time acquiring the respect of my peers in this particular setting.

Don't be too serious while keeping your bearing. Lead by example, don't act like a boss and always offer your support and help to whoever needs it.

Down the road go officer, and you will get automatic respect by the enlisted, lol.
