If I remember correctly the Total Army Instructor Training Course (TAITC) became the Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC). Now I am seeing information on the Common Faculty Development Instructor Course (CFD-IC). What is the current course that qualifies soldiers to instruct MOS Qualification courses and other formal military training that also awards the ASI "8"?

I recently completed the Foundation Instructor Facilitator Course (FIFC) and was awarded the ASI. I had to submit my 1059 through S-1 where a memo was drafted and sent through the Chain of Command. I received my ASI award order shortly after that. Hope that helps you out.

CFD-IC is the current approved POI for the 8 ASI. All other's are obsolete.
