What is the difference between a National Guard Memorandum of Reprimand and a General Memorandum of Reprimand as far as future career goes?

If any letter of reprimand or censure is filed in your OMPF it will be reviewed by every mber of the promotion board rating you until you have it moved to your reateicted file

An E6 thru E9 receiving a GOMOR will automatically face the next scheduled QMP. That's per the regs.

I have never heard of a national guard memorandum of reprimand. A general officer memorandum of reprimand is an administrative action that gets filed in your permanent record. Often you may see a division Commander use a gomar instead of UCMJ because it's quicker and they can't take it to a hearing if they can test it.

SSG (Join to see), agree with CPT (Join to see) - I've never heard of a National Guard Memorandum of Reprimand - there are LORs and GOMORs, but no 'NGLORs'.
The 7th ATC's legal assistance produced a nice fact sheet* on "reprimands" you should look over as it probably answers many of the questions you didn't ask.
