I've heard different answers elsewhere so I figured this would be my best bet. I will need a permanent profile for the Leg Tuck (bilateral shoulder injuries). Is it possible to be exempt from just that event? Or can I do another event in place of? Will profiles even be allowed in the long run? I also welcome thoughts and opinions!

FRAGO 8 released the updated guidance on profiles.
You must be able to complete at least: the Deadlift, Sprint Drag Carry, the Standing Power Throw and an alternate aerobic event

Last I was tracking about profiles was in the L section for no running profiles. I haven't seen any traffic about profiles in the U portion yet. This link is from November, but all it mentions is the cardio portion. I think they are still hashing out the profiles for the other PULHES categories.

Permanent profile guidance allows modified ACFT with as few as one event during diagnostic phase
However, a 3-event minimum has previously been floated as the standard for when the ACFT becomes the Army’s test of record.

last I heard they were allowing the bike and swim as an alternate event for the 2 mile run but not the 2.5 mile walk. That seems like they want to get rid of everyone with a no-run profile by making it more difficult.

I believe that the most current information is found in the ACFT Initial Operating Capability document.
The link is attached, your relevant section is 1-81, I'd post the excerpt, but TRADOC has the file on lockdown.

Follow up question for everyone: Who or what unit is the authority on this? Who would be the person who could answer this?

The U.S. Army Center for Initial Military Training (USACIMT) is the proponent for the ACFT.

The most current is must complete the Deadlift, Sprint Drag Carry, the Standing Power Throw and an alternate aerobic event- the row, swim, or bike.
Edit: I stand corrected, it is a minimum of the 3 RM Deadlift, SDC, and the aerobic event.

Sir,
Could you provide the source of this info? The IOC only dictates the the Deadlift, SDC and one of the Alt Events. I am charged with running an ACFT next week and was not aware of the SPT as a minimum requirement.

SFC (Join to see) - I stand corrected, Re checked the most recent official guidance and you are correct. I posted what I've heard vs what's official. Thank you.
