8th Army. It is the commanding body for 2nd Infantry Division which is the shield shaped patch being worn by the troop behind him.

That is the Eighth Army patch. I was stationed in Seoul when he was their. He drove right past our barracks.

That was two months after I DROS'd back to Fort Rucker. Was lucky and proud to serve my entire time on active duty under that man!
