Because it works. It helps with back pain, insomnia, anxiety. No side effects. It's better than a bunch of pills that are toxic.

AR 600-85 covers the Army Substance Abuse Program, it probably wont say anything about CDB oil. Check with the ASAP office on your post. I'm not sure if all posts have made stance on it yet but I know fort bragg has a policy letter out banning it due to Soldiers being sent to hospital for use.
I dont recommend risking it, but if you do make sure it does not have THC in it or you will pop hot.

Anything cannabis or hemp is not allowed. I remember a few years ago when Washington had Jones Hemp soda. No THC or drugs in it. The Army made a big deal to point out that SM s are not authorized to drink it.

The issue with hemp may be different now that hemp is no longer class 1 with the passing of the 2019 farm bill. It was removed from the controlled substance list

Well federal law doesn’t out law it and just this week Hemp was removed from the controlled substance list with the 2019 farm bill. CBD can be obtained from hemp so it is something the policy makers need to address now.

Understand, but if it causes a positive hit, then the burden will be on the Sm to PRIVE that it was CDB, can't prove it then you are out!

I say this just from my experience as military police. If the regs say its fine, you're gold. If its in the grey area, or no reg on it at all, stay the hell away. Better safe, than sorry.
