59A course - Basic Strategic Arts Program is mentally challenging with a lot of reading and writing.

This will probably raise some eye brows, but for me it was Army Combatives. It wasn't challenging per se, but it was by far the most painful course I ever attended. I've never been more sore and broke feeling in my life.
Keep in mind though that I didn't attend many schools. Air Assault School, WLC, CMAST, BCT3, and combatives training is really my only frame of reference to draw on.
