This will probably raise some eye brows, but for me it was Army Combatives. It wasn't challenging per se, but it was by far the most painful course I ever attended. I've never been more sore and broke feeling in my life.

Keep in mind though that I didn't attend many schools. Air Assault School, WLC, CMAST, BCT3, and combatives training is really my only frame of reference to draw on.
