I currently work with a SSG Officer. He's working on his warrant packet, and could easily become Chief Officer.

PFC Jorgensen (That's "Yor-gen-sen, Sergeant!"). He was the M60 gunner.
Oh, that wasn't funny? Ah. Must have been his first name then.
Gunnar.

I knew a Private First Class Colonel, a Cadet Battle (assuming she later got commissioned and became Lieutenant Battle and perhaps even Captain Battle (not to be confused with Battle Captain), and Sergeant Major (Major was this Sergeant E-5's last name).

I knew a Commander James Bond in the US Navy. I worked with his parents. Whenever people would comment on their last name and say "like James Bond?", they would always reply:" Yes, he's our son!"

Basic training we had a private Dick. And an Italian young man who had last name that was 26 letters drill sgt's would call him either alphabet or spaghetti. We also had a private compass who got smoked in all directions all the time.

Not really a military type moniker but we had a Hospital Corsman at MCAS El Toro named Sexhauer. The joke most often used was "you have a Sexhauer at the Station Hospital"; and we cannot even get a fifteen minute coffee break at H&HS.
