My recruiter's name was MSgt (USAF) Steve Austin. His favorite joke was that he had "different bionic parts"...his wife would turn beet red because he always used to bring it up whenever she was around.

When I was stationed at Ft. HUACHUCA WE had a VERY attactive young female SPC4 working in the mail room. Her last name was Flick. It doesnt sound odd until you realize it was all spelled in blocky capital letters.

FLICK

It was kinda embarrassing reading her name tape the first time I saw her and thought the "LI" was a "U".

One of my soldiers at Fort Ord was Specialist Crapper. I went through Infantry Officer Basic Course in 1973. One of the lieutenants, last name of Major had prior service and his rank was Sgt.
