There was a General Dick floating around the Air Force circa 2003--while I did not know him in his younger years, it was said by some who did that when he was a major, his title and name combination was highly descriptive :)

While filling out papers the admin supervisor said, " AND PUT YOUR JOHN HENRY AT THE BOTTOM RIGHT".....later as he was inspecting the forms.... he shouted " ALRIGHT WHO IS THE SMART *SS?..... turned out the student's name actually was "John Henry"

I served overseas with a 1st LT whose last name was Neptune. He did okay until he was promoted to captain. The phone would ring, and he would answer "Captain Neptune speaking," and the guy on the other end of the line would say, "Right, and I'm Superman! Lemme talk to your supervisor!"
