Kid you not, on my first enlistment (Air Force) I was assigned to a Squadron with a Commander named Gordon, Exec Officer named Evans and 1st Sgt named Cassidy. You can imagine how that went with the young enlisted. Yep - Flash, Dale and Hoppy! Somehow they saw no humor in this.

My basic training Company Commander at Ft. Knox in 1983 was CPT Canada. I went to PLDC at Ft. Polk with Specialists King and Queen (male and female ironically). Then I saw this guy while working retention on a BA weekend. I'd deployed with him and no, this wasn't his real name.
