What is the most military-appropriate name you've encountered in the military?

I've known two "SGT Major"'s over the years, although one was spelled Majer. The oddest though was a LT Kernel. He got a lot of flack. Last I heard he had gotten out before making captain.

Capt Wiener when I was on the 31st MEU and in boot camp we had a recruit sargent and a recruit Marine.

There was a Major Downs where I was stationed. Luckily he's LtCol Downs now.

One of the DS I work with at Jackson is SSG (DS) Brutal. I also know a SSG Savage. SGT Battle. CPT Dickwood. 2LT Blueberry. And there is also (I've only seen this guy once, but I hope to find him again) a SPC Chiesedick (yes, that is pronounced how it looks).

My very first day of basic training back in 2002 I had KP. Back then a drill sgt would stay with us all day, and the drill sgt was Drill sgt Kitchen.
