I was in air force basic with a guy named Bruce wade. Every time we'd work in the kitchen all of us would sing the theme song to the 60's batman show.

Had an OCS Solider in my Basic Training group who’s last name was Payne. Everybody made Major Pain references towards him while he was there

I use to get a little bit of flack for my maiden name being Brashere, because the tape on my chest spelled Bras here. However, nothing holds a candle to my married name. I am currently Specialist Boener (pronounced boner). I am very confident with my new name and enjoy the rise I get out people saying or not saying my name. The jokes are usually entertaining if done with good taste. The key to "unique" names is time and place.
