When I was at NCO school at Cp. Johnson back in 1987, we had a Sgt. Major in our ranks.

Not totally on topic but my squadron at Kadena AB had a very good flag football team and our QB's name was John Passmore.
On TDY to Cam Ranh, Vietnam I visited an orphanage and there was an airman there whose name tag sewn on his fatigues really surprised me. It said QUEER.
