While cleaning out my new office space I was going though all the doors in my desk. I found a floppy disk drive. I am afraid to ask if it is on the property book for the fear that they will add it. I haven't seen floppy disk in ten plus years!

What have you found in your office?

Hi, 1LT Rosa. Get this.

I came into a new office ("new" to me...the office space had been there for years) in '99. One of the old occupants that had moved on to other digs asked me what I thought of the mirror in the bathroom. That was an odd question, it's a mirror, so I went to check it out. The mirror was on hinges, and opened like a door. Behind the mirror was an extensive collection of Playboy magazines. When I pointed it out to my supervisor, who was equally surprised, I was ordered to toss them all immediately.

LOL, that would have been odd. Talk about the wrong place wrong time.

A busted dino fill device is the best I can remember right now. Who would put a floppy drive on the PB knowing it could only be used on stand-alones? Someone should simply "dispose of it".

I remember those. They were still in use when I first came in. We used them on our LRS Teams.

CPT (Join to see) - They're more durable than the SKL and ANCD. I knew many SpecOps 25s that preferred them. An SKL without a stylus or an ANCD without a CIK = Hell.

I've found Floppy disk drives, PATA Hard drives, cassettes, and actual floppy disks.

I read that US Missile command still uses floppy drives in their ICBMs. Maybe it belongs to them
