For me oldest is the Belgian made Flobert / Warnant 32 RF single shot rifle from the 1800's - never shot it as I assume its for black powder.

Coolest is the Mosin Nagant model 44 as its the only one in my collection with an attached bayonet, and the biggest is another Mosin Nagant "Enemy at the Gates"1891 - that sucker is long.

I have a Lee Enfield Ishapore (1965) as well - it was the last bolt action issued to military troops.

I admire all that have the old/old guns, never had a chance to get one, my oldest is my first gun a, late 60's Browning A-5 made in Belgium. At one time I owned a 1903.

Most were my fathers. Some are bring backs and others he picked up in the states. However my appreciation of military history makes it too easy to collect old guns - especially the military ones. Still looking for an old 1911 that wont break the bank.

SPC David S. - My uncle had his issue 1911 from WWII, I wonder where it's at now, he past away in the 90's. In 1960 I went shooting with him with his old S&W 29 as well as a 41mag, he also had a M-2 carbine that he kept during WWII.
He landed with the army on Guam as an EOD, in his collection he had gold teeth for Japs and some Japanese rifles.
