Forced reclassification from one MOS to another in the communications field

We had a similar situation with our firefighters around 06-07. Basically after research and discussion with the IG, at that time if the Soldier had completed the training and served a year in their contracted MOS they were open for involuntary reclass due to needs of the Army and restructuring. Don't know if the Marines have the same situation.
You can always challenge anything but success is another thing as HRC wouldn't put it out without researching it.
Contact your 1SG and then talk to the IG.

You can challenge it, but it's probably a lost cause. Almost every contract has that "needs of the service" clause.
