Im currently a 92F in the process of going active duty my 368 was already signed by the USARC and I’m in the process of making sure all my paper work and Med pros are green before i can go back to meps. I have been told many different things when it comes to choosing a new job . So i was recently told by my recruiter that I would pick what ever job that I qualify for and that I would ship to Ait when ever the Job is available . I was also previously told that I would just be able to pick what ever job was available and from there I would receive orders to go to Ait . I just want to have a better understanding of how things work.

Per the prior service business rules:
i. Grades E-1 thru E-4 - all Army MOSs are eligible for enlistment with the exception of the following: 09L, 12R, 12W, 13P (awarded MOS prior to 1 Oct 15), 13T, 15J, 15S, 68B, 92L, 92M, or 35P (with language code AD, HE, SC, or TH).
Also: b. If the applicant is MOS qualified in a MOS listed for his/her pay grade in paragraph 7a or 7c; approval will be granted in his/her grade in current PMOS, provided the applicant is otherwise qualified and meet NCOES requirements for enlistment grade.
Meaning, since you are an E4, you will be granted your current MOS. You are already qualified in your mos and it is open for active duty so smart money is MEPS telling you that you will stay put. Now if your job was not available, THEN you would be given a reclass opportunity. I came back in as an E6 last year. My job was not open (88K), so I had to reclass.

Follow what recruiter says as he/she knows the requirements. However recommend you go down the first day of the first week of the month when more JOB and training is available on REQUEST. Hooah???
