My ets is coming up and I'm having that good ole debate in my head if I should reenlist or not. I've always wanted to try out for ranger batt but I don't wanna spend too much time in the Army anymore. If you've heard anyone with a 2 year contract in ranger batt please let me know.

You'll owe a few years once you make it in. You can't reenlist to go to Ranger Batt. You can assess, hopefully pass, and then you'll owe three years from when you report. I believe it's currently 3 because it's an Airborne assignment.

There are no contracts just assignments. Assignments are generally no shorter than two years but largely three. There is a lot more than just getting assigned there. The clock starts after training and qualifification and then you arrive at the unit. Then and only then does the clock start. So even in a perfect world 2 years does not provide you with enough time to complete the training and PCS with the required time remaining. Thank you for your service.
