What is the specific Army Reg and section that stipulates how long a Soldier must be in service after completing a COADOS tour of duty?

I'm *not* referring to service obligation for attending a military school, I'm referring to a post-deployment requirement.

c. Performing duty within six months of Expiration Term of Service (ETS) or
Mandatory Removal Date (MRD). ADOS-RC duty must not fall within six months of the Soldier’s ETS or MRD. This requirement may be waived where exceptional military need exists and the Soldier can complete the mission before ETS or MRD. The MSC Commander is the approval authority for requests to perform duty within six months of ETS or MRD. Missions must be completed a minimum of seven days prior to ETS or MRD to properly allow Soldiers to out-process

Clarificaiton on the USARC memo you attached. It refers to ADOS-RC. Would the memo also apply to a Reserve Component officer going on COADOS for an active duty unit?

COL Michael Hanneken - This was just the first policy memo I could find, however the six month rule is based on an Army-wide requirement.
Active duty or Reserve compos, all have to allow for six months after redeployment, or any long orders in Compo 2 or 3, to allow sufficient time for all out-processing requirements and SFL-TAP opportunities.
It is in your best interest to not waive this six months in order to get everything done right, (separation physical, clearing unit and CIF, close out any overdue OERs/NCOERs from prior to deployment, or during deployment, etc) and even take advantage of the 5 day SFL-TAP, whether online or at an installation. Online is very flexible and starts every week.
You can even opt for a free Skillbridge program to pick up a new certification in your current field.
No doubt you have a stable career on the outside, but SFL-TAP also provides vital information on VA benefits and medical, non-regular retirement and gray-area retirement issues. In your case, you might even have to sit through an SFL-TAP at your demob platform. But you'll still want the six months to clear, get that separation physical and clearing appts done on some SUTAs in lieu of drills.
Of course, it's waiverable, but your MSC two star has to sign off, and they'll probably want to see proof of no outstanding OERs, and maybe CIF and hand receipts cleared.
