I've never seen this uniform before. At first, I thought it was a Marine uniform, but the awards, attachments, and rank show that it is a Army uniform. Any insight? PFC (Join to see) SFC Joe S. Looks like a young man, could he be a military school student wearing a school uniform?

This is a high collar honor guard uniform. Each base has an honor guard detail. This is one of their uniforms. The red can signify artillery or police…not sure about that but that is an honor guard uniform. I will try to google and suggest others do as well. I believe if you google examples of high collar honor guard army uniforms, you will find this. Happy hunting.

The Army Ceremonial Band NCOs wear their chevrons upside down, and the headgear does not match. I am willing to bet, based on the headgear, the collar devices are also not the same as the band. The color of the jacket is not the proper color. I would bet that he SGT. works for a collegiate ROTC program, and is wearing the color assigned by/to the school's program. When working for the ROTC program, soldiers are generally authorized to wear their rank, and authorized awards. The Sgt. may be addressing a graduation class.

Good Call SGM, thank you for the correction. I sat and thought about all of the different uniforms I've seen throughout my service, and after reading some of the other responses, I knew none of them were correct. I never saw the US Military Academy Band, so I was not familiar with their uniforms.
