I've never seen this uniform before. At first, I thought it was a Marine uniform, but the awards, attachments, and rank show that it is a Army uniform. Any insight? PFC (Join to see) SFC Joe S. Seems appropreate to wear a uniform not recognised. Same like naming Fort Benning to satisfy some BS woke agenda

The West Point band is one of the three “Special Bands” in the Army. They get their own style of dress blues which set them apart from all other Army bands.

At first I'm thinking stolen valor because it looks like a cross between an Army and Marine uniform, and that's just weird, But I did look it up. West Point Band. I guess they don't get the red hat and upside down NCO rank in that band? Glad that got pointed out because that one looked a little tricky. You don't see that one everyday, except maybe at the football game when Army is getting Navy's goat. (at the 1 yard line)

This Soldier is a member of the US Military Academy Band. All three of the Army's Special Bands, i.e., The US Army Band "Pershing's Own," The US Army Field Band, and the USMA Band, wear similar tunics. The quickest way to tell them apart is by looking at their stripes. TUSAB wears inverted (point down) stripes on their ceremonial uniform, the USMA stripes are white, and TUSAFB wears the same stripes that are on the Army Blue Uniform.

The uniform is a band member, or member of an Army choir. Look closely at the insignia on the hat!

It looks to me like an Army ROTC Cadet uniform, possibly of a band member.
