What is your duty station ZIP code? Do you think this archetype accurately describes service members?

ESRI has created a ZIP code look-up tool that categorizes group of people living in a certain zip code.

Think it does a good job describing the average service member?

It timed out twice on me with no results. I assume that means I'm a secret agent.

Bummer; sorry it didn't work for you.
NAS Corpus Christie came up with the three top archetypes all being very close in percentage. "In Style -15%" "Middleburg-15%" and "Exurbanites-14%". There is narrative describing each type. I hope you give it a try again when you have a chance.

CPT Brent Eysenbach It may be that my server is running slow today. I'll try again this evening from home. It's definitely piqued my curiosity.

I tried it and it said that I am 2 years older than the average person and I make about the same amount of money. Seems legit.

SFC Kendrick.
That is very interesting. I was originally thinking about active duty installations. I wonder what people think about the description of the home of record ZIP code.

Duty Station zip tells me that I am rich and about 6 years older than the average person!

Unless you live in the same zip as your duty station, which I suppose some folks do, it really isn't relevant. My duty station is Washington Navy Yard but I don't live near there (neither do most of the Navy personnel who work there).

For my current location it said "not found" - which sounds about right for Americans and Afghanistan.
For my home I am older, with a higher income than the medians for those two categories. I do not fit the description of any of the "Tapestry" groups. None of that means it's inaccurate - given the nature of my zip code, I am older and wealthier than most of the residents. I am also not a renter, but many are.

SFC Kendrick sparked another thought.
Reservists and Guardsmen...do you think the description of your home of record ZIP code is fitting?
