Movies about war and the military have been around as long as Hollywood. Many are good, more are bad, several are funny. They have all served to glorify, embellish, poke fun of, and tell some true-ish stories. My all-time favorite is 'The Dirty Dozen'. I especially like that it is a team of misfits that come together in the end and accomplish their mission.
