I was most proud to have served in the Navy's only enlisted Corps. The Hospital Corps.

The Flag is number one for me. The 1st Vac would be 2 and the 2d infantry would have to number three

I'm just going to come out and say it. Non of those medals or patches mean shit to me. Went through AIT to be a 68W. All the Platoon Sergeants who had been stationed in hospitals far from any combat had ribbons, medals, and patches galore. The Platoon Sergeants who had been to combat on the other hand had almost nothing on their uniforms. They cared about the men next to them not awards. That taught me all I needed to know about awards

My favorite patch is the one that says I did what others didn't, I volunteered for something that mattered more than my self interests. The one that can only be found in your heart and soul.

Tomb Badge for guarding the tomb of the unknowns is definitely the hardest and coolest.

I've always liked the SHAEF from World War II. Similar to US Army Europe except it has a black rather than blue background.
